So I played Ultimate Frisbee with Department people today, and it was great fun.
Bad News. Someone was throwing a pass to me, and at first I fumbled it, but after it kept flipping in the air, I lunged and caught it, but the momentum made me tuck into a shoulder roll onto half-grassy, half-sandy turf. Now my left shoulder is a little scraped up, and for a while it felt like it was on fire.
It never fails. With sports come the half-regular injuries.
Good News. After the game, my defender walked up to me and said I was quite quick and rather difficult to guard effectively. Since this was coming from a former player on the Slovakian National Ultimate Frisbee team, I felt quite proud of myself! q:
